Throughout a degree interrupted and hindered by COVID and staff/industry strikes, I sought out external work experience and extra curricular opportunities to be proactive and make the most of my time at university. The course itself granted me with adequate base-level knowledge of how to start within the Film and TV Industries.

LOCATION RUNNER - SORT YOUR LIFE OUT

As my first runner role in Unscripted TV, this job entailed dressing a large warehouse with the belongings of a family household for them to sort through in this BBC makeover programme.

ITG Media - May 2022

RUNNER - CURRY'S AD CAMPAIGN

This job saw myself and the production team travelling across 3 locations in sunny Bournemouth to produce a number of short digital adverts for the Curry's brand. Apart from the typical runner responsibilities (cuppas, food/drink orders etc.), I also assisted the DoP in setting up shots and equipment, as well as maintaining light levels.

COVID RUNNER - CALL THE MIDWIFE

In working on the COVID department of this high end scripted drama, I was assigned the responsibilities of enforcing social distancing, handing out PPE as well as efficiently taking and distributing food orders for cast and crew.
